Fresh details have emerged which reportedly suggest that Elijah Obuong was found at the wrong place at the wrong time.

According to an article which has been published by Nation Africa, Obuong stayed in Greenspan estate in Donholm although his parents live in Kitengela. He was a married guy with one child.

Obuong was pinned because of his flashy lifestyle. But according to the sources privy to the investigation, he comes from a well-off family with most of them living in the US. His grandmother who also lives in the US is believed to the one funding his rich lifestyle.

He mostly hanged out with friends around Total Donholm, the same spot where Odour alias Compe and Ochieng also known as Benteke run a car hire business.

Caroline Atieno, Obuong’s wife had earlier told Nation Africa that three of her husband’s allies went missing the same way two years ago. According to her, they have never been found to date.

His body was discovered at Mukungai River in Murang’a just a day after their disappearance while having lunch in Kitengela. The body didn’t have a lot of visible injuries a clear indication that he might have been strangled to death.


This information comes as police a police officer who was recently transferred from Nairobi is placed at the center of the Kitengela missing four. According to reports from Nation Africa, his transfer exposed the gang which has been operating for almost two years now.

More information regarding the gang is that it has over 50 members who different parts of Nairobi.  Their criminal activities include; hijackings, car break-ins, and home break-ins.

The case was moved to the Homicide unit from the DCI team with Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai instructing them to get to the bottom of the matter.

The bodies of the rest were discovered in Murang’a with deep stab wounds, missing hands, and crashed testicles, pointing out to a possibility that the murder was done by people who were looking to find some information.
