Woman Dies just a day after posting"when I die Don't let me stay in the mortuary"for long in Facebook

Death is so cruel. A Nairobi man, David Otieno who lost his wife, Josephine Vero Nasimiyu while receiving treatment after a tragic road accident in Ongata Rongai is seeking for help. Otieno is calling upon well-wishers to help him raise money to give his wife a befitting send-off.

David Otieno's wife, Josephine Vero Nasimiyu succumbed to injuries at Kenyatta national hospital after being involved in a matatu accident on December 8. The driver of a matatu she was travelling in overtook another vehicle at a high speed around Bangla area in Rongai and hit a bump, causing the matatu to roll four times.

Josephine Vero Nasimiyu Vero was thrown out of the rolling matatu and it ran over her.

The late Josephine Vero Nasimiyu seems to have predicted 'her current situation' in a long Facebook post she shared six months ago. In the post, Vero asked her friends and family not to let her lie in the mortuary for long when she dies.

"When I die, please this goes to all my friends and family don't let me stay in the mortuary for long. It's cold, quiet and lonely. Kindly tell the mortuary attendant to make me look beautiful. Tell them to do a thatch of makeup to uplift my pale sunken cold skin to lighten me up since I can't do it myself. Please dress me in a simple dress.  I want to look beautiful on my send off.  I don't want to be scary that people will be afraid to view my statued lifeless body. I want people to look at me and smile for the memories we had are still fresh," read the late Vero's post.
